Flower of the World

Happy Friday, everyone! Have some art!

EDIT: This item has been claimed.

I am, indeed, still working through this backlog of physical pieces of art I’ve got for sale, and this time I’m putting up a mandala I call Flower of the World.

This one was originally designed digitally, printed on watercolor paper, and then I practiced blending shades and hues and gradients. In the end, it ended up a sort of mass of flowered plants floating on the water in the darkness of space studded with stars.

Yes, stars. The background of this piece features silver-tone metallic watercolor speckles and dots that do give it a little sparkle. This should give some idea what it looks like in person:

As usual, this went out first to Patrons, but now it’s available to the general public. :) Flower of the World is 8″x8″ unframed, 14″x14″ framed as shown above, on 140lb cold press watercolor paper, with the outlines printed with regular laser toner (later inked over) and colored with watercolor paints. $40 unframed ($60 framed as shown) plus shipping. Email me if you’re interested.
